Good morning, kiddos!  Welcome back from your Thanksgiving Break.  I hope you had a relaxing time away from school and were able to play outside a lot.

Today in Social Studies, you will be taking the QUIZ that had been scheduled for before break. Unfortunately, a snow day and a 1-hour delay monkeyed up that plan.  So, after you look at your ISN for a few minutes, you will take the quiz.

Good morning, youngsters!  It's Friday, your favorite day of the week, unless you're me, but you already knew that.

Today in Social Studies, we'll be returning to our discussion of how geography has effects, both positive and negative, on populations living in the world. Wednesday, we started working on making inferences about geography and its effects on 4 specific places in the world.  These places just so happen to be the main civilizations that we will be studying this year in class.

Here's how it will go:

1. First, you will finish up any sentences that need finishing.
2. Next, in pairs you will discuss what you wrote down for inferences yesterday/last night.
3. Finally, we will come back together and discuss as a whole group the commonalities and differences that you all came up with.

Day 41: Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 - Best Day of the Week!

Good morning, kids!  How is everybody doing on this fine Thursday morning?  Hopefully pretty well!  Are you ready for another day of learning?
