Today is a C Day, so you get to visit Mrs. Ruffels for FCS during Specials time. If you are required to bring a folder, please do so. One observation that I'd like to make about FCS: last Wednesday when I was working in the Library on school work, the 6th grade HR that was in there for FCS was awfully rude to Mrs. Ruffels, speaking out of turn, making inappropriate comments and generally being disruptive while she was teaching. I sincerely hope that this HR does NOT act the same way.
Things to take care of NOW:
- Sign up for Lunch. BLAINE is our Lunch Slip Runner today. Please sign up so that he can take the slip down to the office.
- Double-check that you have ALL of your materials for the morning classes.
- If you have any unfinished homework from last night, now would be an awesome time to work on that.
- If you brought breakfast in, quickly eat and take of your garbage.
- Sit and get organized for class.
Today in Social Studies:
- We will be reviewing the summaries of yesterday's reading (Paleolithic (Old Stone Age)).
- Then, we will do a similar thing with a reading about the Neolithic time period. Can you guess what NEOLITHIC means?
- Homework tonight will be to create summaries of the chunks of the text, as well as recording the questions and connections that you might make.
